1) understand soft, non-covalent interactions within condensed polymer phases including gels, melts, and glasses.

2) leverage soft interactions to demonstrate control over macromolecular structure and dynamics.

3) Develop material properties toward applications, particularly in the areas of responsive materials and energy.
